http://www.bradenton.com/news/state/florida/article78831777.html
Car insurance rates have been more expensive because the amount of drivers is increasing which means accidents are going up too. Premiums have risen 14% statewide since January of last year. People are complaining of continuously increased rates.
The problem is that insurance is getting too expensive.
People who have the problem are drivers in Florida that have to pay outrageous rates.

http://www.bradenton.com/news/nation-world/national/article78836742.html

A woman with a legitimate service dog that helped her since she lost her eyesight was disrupted in a store by an illegitimate concealed animal that started barking.
The lady with impaired vision is claiming that it causes problems for her service dogs training to be exposed to a dog that is not a real service dog. She also thinks its unfair because she actually needs these services and people lie about it.
Anyone with a legitimate service dog could potentially have this problem if it bothers them that people lie about their dogs being service dogs.

  1. Car insurance rates, as well as other insurance, in the state of Florida are outrageous and getting out of hand. The problem is that insurance companies are in the business of not paying out money. Their entire business plan revolves around them keeping unearned income. So, if they actually have to stand by their promises of covering you during a time of need, they are never going to take on that financial burden, and instead pass it along to all the other insured, regardless of whether they were involved in a crash or not. It is disgusting. Insurance is a ponzi scam! And they should be exposed for what they are. Rates are unfair.

  3. Jenn,
I really liked your post! There was a story in my town about the rising home prices so this might be an issue in a lot of areas. I definitely think this will effect a lot of people and I hope it doesn't lead to another recession. Overall, great post!

  4. Great finds! My insurance has actually been decreasing every year, so long as I don't get into accidents or get driving tickets. The story about the woman and her service dog is pretty unsettling. For someone to falsely claim that his/her dog is a service dog is definitely not right - the animal isn't professionally trained like those service dogs are, which can negatively impact individuals that are exposed to the animal in public due to the owners lie.
